The VT Series is a Commercial Grade Fluorescent Vapor Tight, gasketed enclosure that is completely dust and moisture resistant. The VT utilizes state-of-the-art fluorescent technology to deliver the highest possible efficiency in the lighting industry. Because it is sealed against dust and moisture its efficient use can produce an architectural lighting system that is functional for many industrial, commercial, and sterile environment uses. Food processing facilities, kitchens both commercial and industrial, car washes, and many other kinds of indoor and outdoor applications are used with this versatile fixture.

APPLICATIONS

The VT Series of Fluorescent Vapor Tights were designed to be high quality, energy efficient fluorescent fixtures for use in food processing facilities, kitchens, parking garages, stairwells, car washes, canopy, government facilities, schools, public areas and industrial facilities. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

OPTICAL SYSTEM

High impact acrylic/DR material diffuser with a continuous formed perimeter. Diffuser softens light dissipation for even light coverage.

MOUNTING

The fixture can be suspended or surface mounted. Optional top only hub entry or combination top and end hub entry available for stem mounting applications. Die formed galvanized mounting brackets come standard. No holes required for mounting. Unitized internal/external brass mounting stud for structural integrity and continuity of ground.

CONSTRUCTION

The fixture is constructed of a single piece poly carbonate upper body and an acrylic diffuser securely positioned in a permanent, poured-in-place, polyurethane sealing gasket. The diffuser and upper components are locked in place and sealed tightly with stainless steel retaining latches. High impact acrylic/DR material diffuser composition. Positive cam latches. Polyethylene molded end plugs. Stainless steel mounting brackets.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Standard 120-277V electronic instant start ballasts for T8 lamping, ≤10% THD. Standard 120-277V electronic program start ballasts for T5 lamping, ≤10% THD. 50-60 Hz operation. Sound rated A. Thermally protected. Automatic resetting Class P. High Power Factor. Non PCB.
