OUR MEE series offers a combination of ambient, exam, and reading light for hospitals, nursing homes and other patient care facilities. The MEE is an IC-rated specification-grade luminaire designed for patient rooms. Available in a 2’x4′ size. Optional low-voltage controller offers communication to patient bedside controls and wall switch controls. The Reading and Exam comes standard with a frosted inner lens.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Electronic driver 0-10V, 1% dimming standard. Long-life LED system rated for >100K hours (L70 @ 25°C). Complies with federal energy efficiency standards. Internal low-voltage controller available.
OPTICAL SYSTEM: The ambient compartment shield features an extruded frosted linear prismatic acrylic lens. Exam and reading compartments feature satin acrylic lenses to provide visual comfort in the patient room. Clear polycarbonate outer available in various thicknesses.
LISTINGS: ETL Listed, damp location ETL rated. Wet location optional (requires optional outer lens). Designed and manufactured in the USA.
HOUSING: Seam-welded, one piece construction. Available in various gauge thickness of cold roll steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Access plate on top of fixture provided (for non-wet location fixtures). If additional options are needed, consult factory. White TGIC polyester powder coat finish standard. Antimicrobial white finish optional.
DOORFRAME: Inset door frame constructed of steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. Door frame attaches to housing with stainless steel aircraft cables. Closed cell gaskets seal door frame to housing.
MOUNTING: Universal housing allows for recessed grid or recessed flanged mounting. Swing arm brackets provided for recessed flanged applications, and can be tucked in for recessed grid applications.
LED: Ambient, Exam, and Reading LEDs are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K with CRI > 82. Projected life is >100,000 at 70% lumen maintenance. 90 CRI available.
