The BAB (U) is a Universal, correctional grade LED exit sign. Perfect for any application that requires a heavy duty,
vandal resistant exit sign. This fixture can be mounted either top, side or surface mount, and is available as a single or
double sided fixture. This is a clean and attractive exit sign designed to last.
HOUSING: Constructed from die formed from US sourced cold rolled steel in a variety of gauges (see ordering information for options).
DOOR: One-piece die-formed cold rolled steel as specified in options. Corners continuously seam welded and smooth with no post grinding (TIG).
FASTENERS: Tamper Proof T25 Torx with center pin reject is standard. Allen head fasteners available as an option.
FINISH: TGIC polyester powder coat – 5-stage pre-treatment. Salt spray test: 1,000 hours; Reflectance: 92%. See Options for black exterior.
LEGEND: Legend illuminated by internal high output LEDs. Lettering is 6.0” high with .75” stroke (meeting most requirements). A .125″ clear
polycarbonate lens is standard. EZ snap-out chevron directional indicators.
ELECTRICAL: 624 nm Red or 527 nm Green LED light source.
OPTIONS: 1.2V Long life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCd battery is available as an option. Emergency battery provides up to 90 minutes of
emergency operation. Emergency Battery Pack (EMB) suitable for 10°C to 45°C (50°F to 113°F). Fixtures ordered with an emergency battery are
standard as manually tested via access hole on door, or SELF-DIAGNOSTIC (SDT) can be chosen.
LISTINGS: Meets UL924, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NEC, OSHA, Local and State Codes. UL Listed for damp locations (0°C – 50°C). Certified to CEC
