The MBHDL-8 is a recessed flanged luminaire, designed for behavioral healthcare applications. Sealed and gasketed, our MBHDL8 also has a wet location option for added protection. This unit also offers ambient, exam and reading lighting functions. The MBHDL8 comes standard as a 48” long, 8” wide fixture, a wide aperture lens opening, and an overlap door for efficient and high-distribution lighting. Can also be ligature-resistant in hard ceilings with overlap door and the use of pick-proof caulk (supplied by others). This luminaire was designed for use as as left and right side bed light pair, or as stand-alone fixtures (see ORIENTATION options on next page). With the PAIR option ALL fixture control and drivers will be contained in the left side fixture, and the remaining fixture will only consist of LED boards (powered by a feed from the left side fixture).
CONSTRUCTION: Constructed from 18ga. heavy-duty cold rolled steel, with clean corners and precision welded for extra strength. Torx head with center-pin fasteners included standard. Only available as an OVERLAP door design.
MOUNTING: This is designed for drywall ceilings, but can also be used in lay-in grid ceilings (will not be ligature-resistant). Outdoor use with wet location option. LEDS: High Output LEDs are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K color temperatures. Integral LEDs are rated for at least 100K life hours (L70). OPTICS: A variety of lenses are available, see ordering info on next page. DRIVERS: 0-10V dimming driver is included standard.
FINISH: Matte white finish standard. Custom finishes (RAL) and anti-microbial are optional.
